How To Move The Position of the Notifications In LS Colours Lockscreen At The Bottom of the Weather (iPod Touch, iPhone) ?

LS Colours is a really cool lockscreen theme for your device. It features a minimalist design which includes the time, the date and the weather. However, when plenty of notifications shows up, they cover the look of this elegant theme. Then, best thing to do is move the position of the notifications to make room for the full view of this theme. If you want to change the position of your lockscreen notifications from its original position to just below the weather, proceed to the detailed tutorial below.

What you need:

1. Jailbroken device. Typophone 4 from Cydia

3. Browser for your device or OpenSSH and Cyberduck

4. This modified, BarLCD@2x~iphone.png file. Click the transparent image below and then save it to your computer.

The image is not visible.

Step 1: Plug in your device.

Step 2: Open your Apple device browser.

Step 3. Navigate to /private/var/stash/Themes.<random code>/LS Colours.theme/Bundles/com.apple.TelephonyUI

Step 4. Back-up the contents of the folder by selecting all, right-click then Save As.

Step 5. Add BarLCD@2x~iphone.png with the one you downloaded above.

Step 6. Respring.

You can already see that the notifications appear right below the date. Note that even pop ups will appear on this position. Now, you can appreciate the look and feel of the lockscreen for you can see all of its components even if there are plenty of notifications showing up.

How to get Prestige HD Theme for Free Using Cydia (iPod Touch, iPad, iPhone)?

Prestige HD is a theme from Cydia that features a sleek grayish look and feel for your device's interface. It comes with a cool icon pack, nice lockscreen slider, and unique design for selected apps' interfaces. Below are screenshots of this theme.

Steps:

Step 1: Launch Cydia. Wait for it to update. The free Prestige HD Theme is available on the following repositories, enclosed in parentheses is the repo url:

            HackYouriPhone (http://repo.hackyouriphone.org/)

            xSellize(http://cydia.xsellize.com/)

            Insanelyi

If you already have one of these repos or have all of them, skip Step1.1 to Step 1.3.

     Step 1.1: Tap Manage at the bottom, then Sources. 

     Step 1.2: Tap Edit, then Add.

     Step 1.3: Enter the url repo listed above, select Add Anyway when a pop up appears. Wait for the repository to load.

Step 2: Tap Search at the bottom, then search for Prestige HD or go to one of the sources and look for Prestige HD. (I used the one from HackYouriPhone repo since the one from xSellize gives me the Hatch Sum Mismatch Error)

Step 3: Tap Install, then Confirm.

Step 4: Wait for the download and installation to finish.

Step 5: To use the theme, exit Cydia, launch Winterboard.

Step 6: Tap Select Themes, make sure Prestige HD is ticked. If not, tap it to tick.

Step 7: Tap Back at the top part then ReSpring (What is ReSpring?).

How To ReSpring (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad) ?

Respring means that you are refreshing your Springboard. There are multiple ways to respring.
Below are the two ways to respring.












Through Winterboard:
Winterboard should be installed first from Cydia. Click here to learn how to install Winterboard.

Step 1. Open Winterboard.
Step 2. Tap Select Themes.

Step 3. Untick one theme and then tick that theme again.

Step 4. Tap Winterboard.
Step 5. Tap Respring. Wait for the device to respring.

Through ActionBoard:
ActionBoard should be installed first from Cydia.

Step 1. Activate ActionBoard. ActionBoard will be activated when you activate the AppSwitcher which means double tap the Home button.
Step 2. Tap System.

Step 3. Tap Respring. Wait for the device to respring.

Silent Photo Chill
This tweak enables you to disable the camera shutter sounds when taking a picture. Your device must be Jailbroken and have Cydia on it.

Step 1. Open Cydia.

How to Get Typophone Lockscreen for your Device Using Cydia

Typophone 4 is a lockscreen which offers a sleek design for your usual lockscreen. This is also iOS 5 compatible.

First, you must have Winterboard installed in your device before installing this theme or any other themes for that matter. Click here to learn to install Winterboard.

1. Open Cydia. If you don't have Cydia, you have to jailbreak first your device. Learn here how.
2. Go to the Search option at the bottom. Search for Typophone 4 and then select it.

 

3. Install > Confirm and wait for it to finish.

 

4. Select Return to Cydia.

5. Open Winterboard > Select Themes.

6. Check Typophone 4. If it is already checked, leave it like that.

7. Go back to the previous menu by selecting Winterboard at the top part.
8. Select Respring to restart your SpringBoard. (What is ReSpring?)

How to Boot Tether your Device (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad)?

This process should be done if you are on tethered jailbreak only. You must do this whenever you want to reboot your device (situations like installing Winterboard or completely losing battery) so that you can use it.

1. Make sure your device is connected to your computer.
2. Launch redsn0w (I am using redsn0w 0.9.9b6 for Windows). Select Extras then Just Boot. If you are on previous versions of redsn0w, Browse for the IPSW file > Next > Check Just Boot Tether.

 

3. Follow the on screen instructions to enter DFU mode. Wait while the process finishes up. A pineapple with a bite should appear in your device screen while the rebooting is taking place.
