How To Pay Meralco Bills Using Metrobank Direct?


The steps below shows how to pay Meralco bills using your Metrobank Direct. This only works for those who already have a Metrobank Direct account. Also note that overdue Meralco bills CANNOT be paid thru this method. For BPI Express Online, proceed here.

Step 1. Log in to Metrobank Direct https://personal.metrobankdirect.com/.



Step 2. Salect to 'Pay Bills' located at the left side of the screen.


Step 3. In the Pay Bills page, Select Utilities for the Category, Meralco for the Biller, then enter the ATM/Phone Reference No. found in the lower left part of your Meralco Bill (location of Reference Number shown below) both in the Subscriber Account No AND Reference No. fields. Click Continue.




Step 4. Check the information you entered and click Confirm.


You can check all your transactions in the Security Tools menu in the upper part of the page and then select Transaction History.

      1. Past the payment due date
      2. THe ATM/Ref number changes per bill. So it is different every month. Please double check. Should be 16 digits

  8. Its wrong the atm phone reference number is your sunscribers account number. And the reference number leave it blank..

  13. i experienced the same. invalid , invalid , invalid and that was i got.

    The meralco reference number changes every month and it consist of 26 digits.

  14. Works fine with me. Subscriber/Account no. is the ATM/Phone Reference No. in the Meralco bill. Consist of 16 digits.

  15. Works fine with me, follow the post as it is. Both reference and subscriber no. found in the lower left of the bill receipt that changes every month consist of 16 digits.

  18. Why can't I pay meralco using my debit card. It's saying my mobile number is not registered. I checked my acct, my mobile number is registered.

  19. Thank you very much for this useful article! I was able to pay our Meralco bill for the first time via Metrobank mobile app.

    The ff. info helped me the most:

    "Step 3. ... then enter the ATM/Phone Reference No. found in the lower left part of your Meralco Bill (location of Reference Number shown below) both in the Subscriber Account No AND Reference No. fields. ..."

    This worked! The transaction kept failing when I entered our Meralco Account Number or Meralco Service ID number in the Subscriber Account No. field.

    How was I supposed to know to put the ATM Reference Number in the Subscriber Account Number instead? Thanks to this article I did, and finally succeeded.
