How To Move The Position of the Notifications In Typophone 4 Lockscreen Under the Status Bar (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad) ?

If you enable your notifications to appear in the Lockscreen, it usually appears right below the time just like on the image on the right. However, if you want it to appear just below the status bar like the image on the left, just follow the simple steps below.

What you need:

1. Jailbroken device

2. Typophone 4 from Cydia

3. Browser for your device or OpenSSH and Cyberduck

4. This modified, BarLCD@2x~iphone.png file. Click the transparent image below and then save it to your computer. It is pretty hard to click the image since it is very small, just move around your cursor until it changes.

Step 1: Plug in your device.

Step 2: Open your Apple device browser.

Step 3. Navigate to /private/var/stash/Themes.<random code>/Typophone4.theme/Bundles/com.apple.TelephonyUI

Step 4. Back-up the contents of the folder by selecting all, right-click then Save As.

Step 5. Replace BarLCD@2x~iphone.png with the one you downloaded above.

Step 6. Respring.

You can already see that the notifications appear right below the status bar.

However, if you want it to appear just below the date like this,

How to Change the Color of Pop Up Alerts (iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad)

Ever wanted to change the color of your blue pop up alerts just like the picture below. The pop up alert color on this photo is Aqua. And by installing Pop Up Colors from Cydia, there are many more available colors like Green, Pink, Red, Purple, Black, Orange and Yellow. To learn how to get this tweak, proceed below.,

1. Open Cydia.
2. Select Search option at the bottom.
3. Type Pop Up Colors in the Search box.

How to Get Windows 7 Running On iPod/iPhone/iPad?

 Aero Theme for Dreamboard

Maybe some of you noticed in tutorials that some of the iDevices used are running in Windows 7 or OS Lion. These are not exactly operating systems running but instead these are themes that can be used via Dreamboard (click here to learn more about Dreamboard and how to install it).  Dreamboard is an app that can be downloaded from Cydia. In order to have this, your device must be in jailbreak state first and then install Dreamboard via Cydia. When Dreamboard is already installed, follow these steps to install Windows 7 Theme on your device.

1. Open Cydia.
2. Search for Aero.
3. Install then Confirm.
4. Wait for it to finish installing.
5. Launch Dreamboard.
6. Select the theme that looks like the Windows 7 log in screen.
7. Wait for the theme to load.

You can always go back to the default SpringBoard by launching Dreamboard and selecting Default theme.

How to Get Calendar Widget for Your Notification Center (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad)?

Calendar for Notification Center is an add on that enables you to have and view your calendar from the notification center. To acquire this add on, your device must be running on iOS 5 and jailbroken first. These are the steps to get Calendar for Notification Center.

1. Update to the latest iOS (5.0). Learn here how.
2. Jailbreak your device using redsn0w. Learn here how.
3. Open Cydia.
4. Proceed to the Search option. Search for Calendar and look for Calendar for Notification Center. Also, you can go to Manage > Sources > BigBoss repo and look for Calendar for Notification Center and then select it.
5. Install and Confirm.
6. After the installation, select Restart SpringBoard.
7. Go to settings, add Calendar Widget in the Notification Centre.
