How To Prevent Smelly Feet?

Have  you ever been  into a situation and felt so embarrassed when one of your travel mates snorted, "Did anyone bring in the vinegar?" and  realized she was referring to your feet?

Smelly feet have caused some of us this awful feeling at one time or the other in our entire life. I myself have always been aware about this and have tried many products in the market but to no avail until finally one day I became experimental. See what i did and voila, EUREKA!!

Step One - Wash feet  especially  between the  toes with soap or any skin cleanser.

Step Two - With a towel, dry feet thoroughly, again, giving attention in drying areas  between toes. 

Step three - Apply your ordinary underarm deodorant  on the area beneath your toes. With the help of your fingers, spread the deodorant in between toes and the whole sole. Wait for at least 15 seconds before putting socks on.

Note: I use same deodorant for my armpit and my feet. Since I am using the stick type, for hygienic reason, I scrape the deodorant with the back of my thumb nail, apply it on then spread out with my fingers. This technique also prevents your underarm to get rashes.

    This has been a personal practice especially during travels and sporty activities  BUT  has no medical basis. However, no adverse side effects have been experienced.
     No particular brand is suggested though the stick type is better based on personal experience. This is effective than using the ordinary foot powder or spray.

The rule: Remove Duplicates!

Needing pizza cutter? Just use a knife.

Needing a garlic smasher? Just use a mortar and pestle.

Needing a ladle? Just use the large spoon.

It will work. I promise.

If you live in a tiny house like me, you get to evaluate which things are really necessities and which aren't.

Living in a 19 sqm unit always keeps you analyzing what's really needed to suit your lifestyle. The things you need varies whether you eat outside or prefer to cook, you bake or you just buy, you wash your clothes or just bring it to the laundry shop, you live alone or you live with someone, you invite friends over of just go out.

Considering all these factors, I have come up with the list of essential things you need in a tiny home.

Even if you live in a 19sqm house, living room is there. This is the place where you accept your guests, thus this must be clutter-free, always.

The rule: To the wall!

Attach built-n shelves/cabinets to the wall.

Hang frames on the wall.

Hang hooks on the wall.

Store bags on the wall.

This will draw the eye upward and make the space looks bigger. Also, maximizes the sitting space for you and for your guests.

How To Use GrabTaxi / GrabCar?

An app for social good, that is what GrabTaxi app is. (Although, in my theory this is the cause of the spike in traffic in the Metro because of the high number in car investments as business). A user must first download the GrabTaxi app in Playstore or in Apple Store.

There are four types of services this app offers:

• GrabTaxi
• Grab Express (not yet deployed)
• GrabCar (Sedan)
• GrabCar (Premium)

GrabTaxi

GrabTaxi is a service used by already existing cab companies. To book:

Step 1. Open the app. Make sure that your location services or GPS in enabled.

Step 2. Select GrabTaxi in the option below.

Step 3. Select your Pick up Point and your Destination. Pick-up point is usually automatically detected based on your location but you can customize it by tapping the Pick-up part of the screen.

Step 4. Select the Next arrow icon. Enter Notes to Driver (optional) and Promo Code (optional). Your estimated fare will be displayed also.

Step 5. Tap 'BOOK GRABTAXI' and wait until a driver is assigned to you.


GrabCar (Sedan)

Repeat the steps above but instead of selecting GrabTaxi at the bottom, select GrabCar (Sedan).

GrabCar (Premium)

You can always view your History in the upper left part of the screen.

How To Switch Accounts in Clash of Clans (CoC)?

The steps below shows how to pay Meralco bills using your Metrobank Direct. This only works for those who already have a Metrobank Direct account. Also note that overdue Meralco bills CANNOT be paid thru this method. For BPI Express Online, proceed here.

Step 1. Log in to Metrobank Direct https://personal.metrobankdirect.com/.

Step 2. Salect to 'Pay Bills' located at the left side of the screen.

Step 3. In the Pay Bills page, Select Utilities for the Category, Meralco for the Biller, then enter the ATM/Phone Reference No. found in the lower left part of your Meralco Bill (location of Reference Number shown below) both in the Subscriber Account No AND Reference No. fields. Click Continue.

Step 4. Check the information you entered and click Confirm.

You can check all your transactions in the Security Tools menu in the upper part of the page and then select Transaction History.

How To Open a BPI Online Account?

If you want to enjoy the convenience of BPI online banking, follow the steps below:

Step 1. Go to https://www.bpiexpressonline.com/direct_applynow.htm. Select the type of bank you would like to make an online account for.

Step 2. Select the type of account you would like to make an online account for. Click Continue.

Step 3. Select your residency. Click Continue.

Step 4. Please select 'I Agree' to the Internet Banking Service Agreement.

Step 5. Enter your account details. Click Submit.


Step 6. Enter personal information and login details. Click Submit.

Step 7. Express Online Confirmation will be shown. An email confirmation will also be sent to the email you used to register. Follow the steps in the confirmation page or in the email sent.

Congratulations! You now have a BPI online account that you can use to pay your bills, load your mobile, transfer funds, and more.

6. Wait for it to finish. Proceed to Downloaded tab and tap the app and select Install.

7. You should see the app on your device already after installation.

When you go to Japan, it seems that everyone is on hurry. And by that comes food in which you can eat in hurry, especially when you are on sightseeing and you want to maximize every second of your trip.

Worry no more because Japan has lot to offer when it comes to instant foods. Every block, you can spot a convinience store called "combini" in Japanese in where you can buy from chips to rice meals.

One of the most popular food in Japan is the Onigiri. They even have a special lunch bag shaped just for this meal. It is a rice shaped like a triangle with different viands inside it. It is wrapped in seaweed and then sealed by a plastic.

It is a little confusing on how to open it in a way that you dont mess up the seaweed wrapping around it. Instructions are written below.

1. Peel of the part where number "1" is written. Usually, it is the top part.

2. Go all the way down and around the back until you peel off a strip in the middle part.

3. Pull off the sides labeled "2" and "3".

7. Reboot your device if neccessary.

8. Launch Candy Crush Saga, proceed to Yeti Shop to test your hack. Coohose a booster, purchase and tada! You can now have whatever you want!
