Note: Device must be jailbroken and has Cydia on it.
Step 1. First, Update Typophone 4 using Cydia (learn here how). After the update finishes successfully, your lockscreen should look like this.
Step 2. Basically, the instructions is on the black lockscreen. Follow the instructions.
Step 3. After that, DO NOT FORGET TO RESPRING. (How To ReSpring?)
Goodluck and enjoy! If this still doesn't work, try changing the wallpaper manually. :)

When I did this the writing on the screen wouldn't go away. Do you have the solution ?

DeleteI am using Typophone 4 on my iPod Touch 5, with iOs 6.0.1 running on it.
Try checking for Typophone 4 updates in Cydia and then update.
