How To Complete Sproing! Sproing! Achievement in Plants Vs. Zombies (iPod Touch)

Sproing! Sproing!
Complete Pogo Party without using Tall Nuts and Magnet-shroom.

Other Achievements:

Finally got it! One of the hardest levels to complete without using the Magnet-shroom. My savior? The Squash! :)

Strategy:

 1. This is the list of the plants: Sunflower, Twin Sunflower, Flower Pot, Squash, Imitator(Squash), Cabbage-pult, Cherry Bomb, Melon-pult. Choose Whatever you like to complete the required number of plants.
2. You need the Twin Sunflower for the Melon-pult which can easily kill zombies.
3. Plant Sunflowers in the first row before the first zombies appears.
4. When a zombie appears, use the squash and the imitator alternately. Do this for maybe around 10 zombies coming. While doing this, continue planting Sunflower in the second row and plant the first Twin Sunflower on one of the Sunflowers in first row.

5. You are using the Squash to kill the zombies instantly wih the need of less amount of sun.
6. When your sun reaches around 500, start planting Melon-pults in the third row.

7. If you think a zombie would not die and be able to jump over your Melon-pult, immediately plant a Squash!
8. While the Melon-pult is loading or you lack sun for the Melon-pult, plant a Cabbage-pult on the next row. If you gain extra sun, plant Cabbage-pults on the next row again.

9. This level requires timing and good decision combined together. Above is the final formation of plants.

Additional Tip: The Roof Cleaners can be of great help too sometimes! Good Luck!!!! :)

  1. I would like to suggest a small but significant change. Start by planting the suns out front in column 3 (and 4 after putting down pots) and putting the squashes behind them. Now when you have enough sun, start planting the melons in column 1. Having the melons in the rear means they get 1-2 extra melons fired off before the zombies can hop over them, making it almost certain to take out the zombies before they even get to the squashes. You won't even need the cabbage-pult this way, and soon enough if you've been planting twin sunflowers, you keep going with a second column of melons in column 2. At this point, you just sit back and win.

  2. So The above strat works 100% - Thank you author!!!

I will make some notes about the strat:
-I never used the corn-launcher plant. Near endgame I had 1000+ Sun. Player may want to excahnge this with the Ice Melon-pault instead.

-The Cherry bomb is a safeguard for the final wave when zombies are dropped from above

-With the melons in the 3rd row, a single pogo zombie dies only 95% of the time depending on the time of your melon. Adding the Cabbage-pult in the 3th row ensures death.

    Thank you again!

  3. Awesome, it worked! I had two slight alterations, the one CSblogs suggested with putting the melons behind the sunflowers, which makes sense actually. My other change was instead of putting down any cabbage-pults I just planted the freezing melon on top of the regular melon, which worked fantastically since that plant has splash damage (so plant the first two in the 2nd and 4th rows so they have max damage until you get the next one planted)
